Day off on Formentera
One big fortune to be a freelancer is to structure your work by yourself.
During summer season I work almost 6 days a week, while Saturdays are always weddings and during the week I need to edit the pictures and keep up with my clients.
That’s why it was a really huge thing for me last week to have a one-day-break from work on Formentera.
I took the ferry to the neighbour island of Ibiza in the morning and started out with driving around and visiting the two lighthouses. After lunch at Pirata Bus I went to the beach, laid down on the white sand with a book and jumped from time to time into the sea.
What a pleasure!
This little break filled me with so much energy, gave me new impressions and inspired me for my work. I always have new ideas when I can calm down and relax.
Days at the beach are the most relaxing ones for me. I love to swim in the sea with little fishes around me. To have sand everywhere. And to read a book or to close eyes and listen to the waves.
At least not the whole day was off from work. In the evening I’ve had an appointment with a wedding couple and I’ve made some really beautiful engagement shots of them at their villa. These pictures I will show in a little while.
